Construction Foreman

About the role

We are seeking a full-time Construction Foreman to lead our on-site construction activities in Addis Ababa. The foreman will ensure that daily work is carried out efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards while coordinating with engineers and other professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Delegate tasks to crew members and monitor daily progress.
• Conduct quality control inspections to uphold project standards.
• Supervise the operation of heavy equipment and ensure proper usage.
• Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders and engineers.
• Enforce occupational safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in carpentry and construction techniques.
• Experience in quality control processes on construction sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges.
• Academic or professional background in civil engineering or a related field is advantageous.
