About the role

Arif Studios is seeking a contract Photo Editor to work on a hybrid basis in Jimma. You will be responsible for refining visual assets for client projects and internal campaigns, ensuring high‑quality output across web, print, and social media.

Key responsibilities

• Review, select, and organize photo assets from shoots and external sources.
• Perform image editing, retouching, color correction, cropping, and file preparation for various platforms.
• Collaborate with photographers, videographers, designers, and project managers to maintain visual consistency with brand guidelines.
• Support basic video editing tasks, including simple cuts, color adjustments, and exports.
• Maintain the digital asset library and contribute ideas to enhance visual storytelling.

Required profile

• Strong image post‑production skills with a portfolio demonstrating professional work.
• Experience in asset discovery, organization, and visual library management.
• Basic to intermediate photography knowledge and on‑set collaboration ability.
• Familiarity with multimedia workflows and simple video editing.
• Effective communication, openness to feedback, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Relevant education or equivalent experience in Photography, Visual Arts, Media Production, or a related field.
