Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

OLPeak Software and AI Labs is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to build the foundational platform for its AI‑first products. You will design cloud architecture, create deployment pipelines, and ensure observability and cost control as the system scales from internal testing to thousands of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure, covering networking, compute, storage, and security.
• Own infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform (or equivalent) with a modular structure.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for FastAPI backend, React frontend, and Flutter mobile applications.
• Build an observability stack (logs, metrics, traces, alerts) before production load.
• Design and operate AI‑specific infrastructure: model serving, vector DB hosting, embedding pipelines, LLM cost monitoring.
• Implement secrets management, identity, and access control across environments.
• Create staging, preview, and production environments with robust promotion flows.
• Plan launch readiness including load testing, capacity planning, and incident response runbooks.
• Manage cloud cost budgets, alerts, optimization, and post‑mortem billing analysis.
• Collaborate on security, compliance, and data‑privacy from day one.
• Mentor engineers on platform topics and raise operational quality standards.

Required profile

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Production‑grade experience on AWS or Azure at meaningful scale.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure‑as‑Code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar).
• Hands‑on experience managing Kubernetes clusters in production.
• Proven ability to design CI/CD pipelines that developers love.
• Deep knowledge of Docker, Linux, networking, and security fundamentals.
• Interest in supporting AI/ML workloads or a strong desire to learn.
