Frontend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a versatile Frontend Engineer to join our small senior team at SenayCreatives. The role blends client‑facing activities such as business development and social‑media management with hands‑on development of fast, accessible web interfaces using Next.js and TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to potential clients, present services, and negotiate deals.
• Manage leads, follow‑ups, and client communications to convert prospects into long‑term partners.
• Develop and execute social‑media strategies, create content calendars, and monitor audience engagement across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other platforms.
• Produce short‑form videos, reels, graphics and written copy; collaborate with designers and video editors.
• Build responsive, accessible user interfaces from design mock‑ups using Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Ensure performance and accessibility standards, monitor Lighthouse scores, and work closely with backend and design teams.

Required profile

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in Amharic and English.
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently and handling multiple responsibilities.
• Previous experience in sales, business development or social‑media management is a plus.
