Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term

About the role

UNICEF is seeking an experienced Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) on a fixed‑term basis to lead its contracting and logistics portfolio in Ethiopia. The role will ensure efficient supply chain operations, support emergency response, and provide technical advice to partners and government systems.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the contracting and logistics portfolio, including supply planning, forecasting, procurement, customs clearance, warehousing, in‑country transport and distribution.
• Oversee supply chain service delivery and coordinate emergency response logistics.
• Collaborate with programme teams, implementing partners and other stakeholders to align logistics with programme needs.
• Provide technical and advisory support to national government systems and partners.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree (Master or equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Supply/Purchasing, International Business Relations, Law, Health Administration, Procurement, Commercial Law, Contract Law, International Development or related fields.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in supply management, contracting, logistics, procurement or supply chain management, preferably in humanitarian or development contexts.
