2D Character Concept Artist

About the role

iLogos Game Studios is seeking a talented 2D Character Concept Artist to shape the visual identity of key characters for an upcoming sci‑fi/cyberpunk game. The role bridges concept creation and 3D production, ensuring designs are both compelling and technically ready for modeling and animation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visual concepts from creative briefs, researching and gathering reference material.
• Produce multiple design directions, refining silhouettes, outfits, equipment, and overall visual language.
• Deliver high‑quality final character concepts, including full‑color renders and detailed turnaround sheets.
• Prepare production‑ready assets such as callout sheets, material references, and layered PSD files for the 3D team.
• Collaborate closely with the Art Director, iterating on feedback and ensuring alignment with the project’s artistic vision.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a concept artist or character designer in the game industry.
• Strong grasp of character design principles, human anatomy, and both realistic and semi‑realistic styles.
• Portfolio showcasing characters for games, films, or AAA productions.
• Understanding of the full game character production pipeline.
• Nice‑to‑have experience with sci‑fi, cyberpunk, or post‑apocalyptic settings and familiarity with 3D modeling/animation workflows.
