AI Trainer – LLM & Generative AI Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented AI Trainer to help develop and refine large language models and generative AI systems. The role is fully remote and involves working closely with engineers and product teams to improve model performance across a variety of tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage end‑to‑end training workflows, including supervised fine‑tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF).
• Create complex prompt templates and testing scenarios for coding, creative writing, reasoning and multilingual tasks.
• Define and maintain rubrics for model output quality and conduct deep analysis of failures, bias, hallucinations and logical errors.
• Produce high‑quality “golden datasets” that set behavioral standards for the model.
• Guide junior trainers and annotators, ensuring consistency and high standards.
• Document training methodologies, model behaviors and iterative improvements for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with ML engineers and product managers to translate research goals into actionable annotation tasks.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and propose enhancements to annotation tools and platforms.
• Generate synthetic data to augment training sets and improve robustness in niche scenarios.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a relevant technical field such as software engineering or computer science.
• Strong analytical ability to dissect complex problems, spot patterns in data and communicate abstract concepts clearly.
• Comfortable reading technical papers and staying up‑to‑date with AI safety research.
• Proven experience using data analysis or metrics to justify training decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
