Associate & Senior Associate – Legal Counsel

About the role

TBeST Law LLP is expanding its legal team in Addis Ababa and seeks motivated Associates and Senior Associates. You will work on complex, high‑profile corporate and commercial matters, collaborating closely with clients and senior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial and transactional matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support client strategies.
• Manage cases independently and supervise junior lawyers as needed.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure timely delivery of services.

Required profile

• LL.B. degree from a recognized institution (LL.M. is a plus).
• Minimum of 4 years post‑qualification legal experience.
• Demonstrated experience in corporate and commercial law or related practice areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic.
• Professionalism, integrity and strong attention to detail.
