About the role

Enat Bank is seeking a Branch Accounts Administrator (Grade B) to join its Gelemso branch. The role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, authorising transactions, and ensuring compliance with bank procedures. Women applicants are highly encouraged to apply.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain daily integrity of books of accounts and verify that transaction tickets match system output.
  • Authorise and sign documents as referred by the Customer Service Officer.
  • Validate and retain original cash deposits against system records at settlement.
  • Process deposit and payment of financial instruments, including cheques and other payment instruments.
  • Dispatch and receive cheques and payment instruments to/from the Finance Department.
  • Custody daily transaction and account opening documents.

Required profile

  • BA degree in Accounting, Banking & Insurance, Banking & Finance or related fields.
  • Minimum 3.5 years of experience in banking operations.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Senior Customer Service Officer or equivalent position.
