BSS Operations Specialist (Internal/External)

About the role

The BSS Operations Specialist will provide system support for the Business Support Systems (BSS) application stack, its integrations and related software components. The role ensures end‑to‑end accountability for system performance, incident resolution and service level compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support and maintain the BSS application suite and associated integrations.
• Own incident management, ensuring timely resolution to meet MTTR and SLA targets.
• Develop and implement automated monitoring solutions, leveraging machine‑learning techniques where appropriate.
• Proactively create controls to detect and prevent issues before they impact services.
• Ensure compliance with operational policies, including regular backups, business continuity plans and periodic user‑access reviews.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supporting BSS or similar enterprise application stacks.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on incident resolution and SLA adherence.
• Familiarity with building automated monitoring and applying data‑driven techniques for proactive system health.
• Understanding of operational governance such as backup procedures, BCPs and access‑review processes.
