Business Development & Sales Representative

About the role

Lidet Digital is seeking a full‑time Business Development & Sales Representative to work remotely from Addis Ababa. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities, guiding prospects through the sales funnel, and closing contracts for the agency’s digital marketing and technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct prospect outreach via calls, emails and virtual meetings.
• Present Lidet Digital’s service portfolio and tailor proposals to client needs.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate terms and follow up consistently to secure new contracts.
• Collaborate with marketing and delivery teams to align solutions and ensure smooth onboarding.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and track key performance metrics.
• Provide insights to refine sales strategies and improve client relationships.

Required profile

• Proven sales and inside‑sales experience, managing a complete sales cycle.
• Strong lead‑generation and business‑development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on long‑term client relationships.
• Relevant experience in digital marketing, technology services or agency environments is highly beneficial.
• Organised, comfortable using CRM tools, and able to meet targets and deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency in English and local languages; familiarity with the Addis Ababa business landscape is a plus.
