Corporate Planning & Business Development Manager

About the role

The Corporate Planning & Business Development Manager will lead the division responsible for strategic planning and growth initiatives within Yegna Microfinance Institution. Reporting to senior management, the role focuses on shaping the institution’s corporate strategy and expanding its business portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate planning processes to support the institution’s strategic objectives.
• Identify and evaluate new business development opportunities in the microfinance sector.
• Lead a team to execute planning and development projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and market requirements.
• Prepare analytical reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies to achieve financial targets.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of relevant experience in banking or microfinance, with at least 2 years in a senior or managerial position.
• BA/MA degree in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration or related fields.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
