About the role

The Credit Controller is responsible for safeguarding the company’s profitability by ensuring that customer collection targets are achieved. This position works closely with the sales team to provide appropriate credit facilities while actively managing overdue accounts and minimizing financial risk.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure customer collection targets are met to protect company profitability.
  • Manage overdue accounts and take appropriate actions to recover payments.
  • Reduce company risk by monitoring credit exposure and minimizing losses.
  • Support the sales team by providing credit facilities to qualified customers.
  • Monitor payment trends and report on collection performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of credit transactions and credit limits.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in credit control or collections.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk and financial loss mitigation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams to assess customer creditworthiness.
