Digital Banking Officer

About the role

The Digital Banking Officer will lead the management and optimisation of our digital banking channels, ensuring they operate efficiently and deliver an excellent customer experience. Working from the Head Office in Addis Ababa, you will collaborate with multiple departments to align digital services with business goals and emerging industry trends.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of digital banking platforms, monitoring performance and resolving issues.
• Develop and implement new digital banking solutions to enhance service delivery.
• Analyse customer feedback and usage data to continuously improve the digital experience.
• Coordinate with IT, marketing, risk and compliance teams to ensure seamless integration of digital initiatives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of banking regulations and industry best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant experience in banking operations or digital banking.
• Demonstrated integrity and strong communication abilities.
• Proven track record of delivering customer‑focused solutions.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate across functions.
