Director, District Office

About the role

The District Office Director will lead banking operations across the Addis Ababa, Hossahna and Hawassa districts. This senior position reports to senior bank management and is responsible for ensuring the delivery of banking services in line with the institution’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of district branches and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
• Coordinate with regional and head‑office teams to implement policies and performance targets.
• Monitor financial performance, risk management and customer service standards within the districts.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate district staff, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• Minimum MA/MBA/MSc/BA/BSc degree in Management, Finance, Banking, Economics or related fields.
• At least 11–13 years of banking experience, including 3–5 years in a division‑manager or equivalent senior role.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple branches and drive results.
