About the role

The Director of Financial Analysis & Reporting leads the bank’s financial reporting function, ensuring accurate, timely statements and optimal cash management. This senior position shapes strategy, drives operational excellence, and safeguards internal controls across the finance department.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies, policies, and annual budgets for the Financial Analysis and Reporting Department.
• Set performance targets, monitor KPIs, and take corrective actions to achieve business objectives.
• Drive cost‑effectiveness and operational excellence to build sustainable competitive advantage.
• Maintain a robust internal‑control environment and proactively mitigate operational risks.
• Promote cross‑functional collaboration to eliminate silos and ensure seamless end‑to‑end processes.
• Oversee preparation and submission of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, IFRS, and bank regulatory requirements.
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing process, ensuring reconciliations and deadline compliance.
• Ensure integrity of the general ledger and underlying financial data through strong internal controls.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in finance within a banking environment.
• Strong track record of developing and executing financial strategies and budgets.
• Ability to monitor performance, identify gaps, and implement coaching or corrective measures.
• Expertise in fostering teamwork, accountability, and transparent communication.
• Experience in building and maintaining robust internal‑control frameworks.

Required skills
