About the role
We are seeking a Director to lead our interest‑free microfinance business in Addis Ababa. The role involves overseeing operations, driving growth, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the interest‑free microfinance portfolio.
- Manage day‑to‑day operations, including loan disbursement, monitoring, and recovery.
- Lead and mentor a team of banking and microfinance professionals.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with senior management on financial performance and reporting.
Required profile
- 5–7 years of relevant banking or micro‑finance experience.
- At least 3 years in a senior or managerial position.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Marketing or related fields.
