Finance & Business Training & Consultancy Associate

About the role

The Finance & Business Training & Consultancy Associate will support the design and delivery of professional training programmes and consultancy projects in finance, accounting, investment and business analysis for clients in Addis Ababa.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver finance and business training programs.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, case studies, exercises and practical financial models.
• Conduct client needs assessments and identify training and consultancy requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, professional training programmes and corporate learning sessions.
• Provide consultancy and analytical support on financial and business challenges.
• Analyze financial, operational and business data and develop practical recommendations.
• Support financial analysis, business analysis, valuation, investment analysis and related assignments.
• Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for process and performance improvement.
• Follow up on implementation and assess the impact of training and consultancy engagements.
• Contribute to business and technical proposals, presentations and client deliverables.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients and partners.
• Support the development of new training programmes, consulting products, analytical tools and internal projects.
• Contribute to the firm’s knowledge development and professional service offerings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Master’s degree and/or professional qualifications such as CFA, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent are an advantage.
• Proven experience in training, consulting, financial analysis, business advisory or professional services.
• Strong understanding of finance, accounting, investment and business concepts.
• Ability to analyze financial and operational information and translate analysis into practical recommendations.
