Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager is a pivotal position responsible for accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and regulatory compliance. Working closely with the CFO and finance team, you will provide insight to support business decisions and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, management reports, reconciliations and cash‑flow reports.
• Oversee the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, ensuring record accuracy.
• Analyse performance, investigate variances and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, identifying cost‑control opportunities.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and maintain timely documentation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, statutory requirements and internal policies.
• Prepare and support tax filings in collaboration with external advisors.
• Provide financial analysis to guide strategic decisions and collaborate with senior management.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and enhance finance processes and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CMA) is a plus.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, including senior accounting or financial management roles.
• Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, analysis and ledger management.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, controls, tax, audit and statutory compliance.
• Experience managing AP/AR, reconciliations, cash flow and supporting audits.
• Proven ability to lead or mentor finance/accounting teams.
