General Ledger & Fixed Asset Administrator

About the role

The General Ledger and Fixed Asset Administrator is responsible for end‑to‑end fixed‑asset accounting, journal processing and month‑end closing activities. The role ensures accurate posting, reconciliation and compliance with IFRS and internal control standards.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and post manual journal entries, ensuring supporting evidence is complete.
• Create and maintain Fixed Asset (FA) master data, process asset capitalization, depreciation and asset transfers.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations for GL, FA, vendor, customer and inventory accounts.
• Prepare and review monthly depreciation, pre‑payment amortisation and accrued‑liability postings.
• Coordinate physical asset verification, tagging of new assets and reconcile counts with system records.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and addressing findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Management.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Fixed Asset accounting and General Ledger processing.
• Knowledge of IFRS and ICFR compliance.
