Growth & Partnerships Lead

About the role

We are seeking a founding generalist to own partnerships and on‑the‑ground growth across our portfolio of ventures. Reporting directly to the founder, you will shape our growth strategy, build relationships, and drive adoption as new projects launch and scale.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and secure new partners for our ventures.
• Build and manage strategic partner and platform relationships.
• Own the full partnership funnel from initial conversation to active engagement.
• Gather field and market feedback to inform strategic decisions.
• Represent Coded Solutions on the ground, often as the first point of contact for partners.
• Take on new initiatives directly from the founder as priorities evolve.

Required profile

• Experience in sales, business development, field operations, or partnerships, preferably in fast‑moving or informal‑market contexts.
• Strong knowledge of the Addis Ababa commercial landscape or ability to learn it quickly.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid context‑switching, and building processes from scratch.
• Fluent in Amharic and proficient in English.
• Desire for ownership across a portfolio of ventures, not just a single project.
