HR Business Partner – Commerce

About the role

The HR Business Partner – Commerce will lead strategic HR partnering for the Commerce function, ensuring alignment with Heineken Ethiopia’s overall HR strategy and supporting the achievement of business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Embed strategic HR business partnering and oversee its implementation across the Commerce function.
• Lead talent acquisition, succession planning, and career development initiatives for sales and commerce teams.
• Drive performance management, including annual objectives, PDPs, reviews, and merit awards.
• Support cultural change initiatives, climate surveys, and DEI priorities, especially the Women in Commerce agenda.
• Collaborate on compensation and benefits design to motivate high performance.
• Provide employee relations guidance, manage disciplinary processes, and support expatriate assignments.

Required profile

• Minimum a degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, HR Management or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
• Strong business acumen, high integrity, and ability to coach senior leaders.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Fluent English with strong interpersonal communication skills.
