HR Business Partner – Support Functions

About the role

The HR Business Partner for Support Functions will embed strategic HR partnering across Heineken Ethiopia’s support areas, ensuring alignment with the overall HR strategy and business needs. The role drives culture, performance, talent, and wellbeing initiatives for all support employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR Business Partnering for the Support function, providing guidance throughout the employee life‑cycle and ensuring high‑quality HR services.
• Develop and implement climate and change‑management initiatives, using survey data to improve team culture and engagement.
• Oversee performance management, annual objectives, PDPs, and merit awards, and manage under‑performance actions.
• Drive talent acquisition, succession planning, and DEI priorities, including the Gold‑Level Women in Support program.
• Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits to review reward systems and support staff wellbeing and stress‑management programs.
• Provide HR policy guidance, manage employee relations, expatriate assignments, disciplinary processes, and promote work‑life balance.

Required profile

• Minimum a university degree in Management, Economics, Business Administration, HR Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, with strong business acumen and analytical abilities.
• Excellent English communication, high integrity, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
