HR Manager

About the role

On behalf of a leading international FMCG conglomerate, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead and strengthen the human resources function in Ethiopia. The role will manage the full employee lifecycle, enhance HR systems and practices, and partner with senior management to build a high‑performing, engaged workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and provide professional HR advice to managers and employees.
• Lead recruitment and selection activities, support workforce planning, and ensure effective onboarding and integration of new hires.
• Coordinate employee training and development programs, conduct needs assessments, and monitor the effectiveness of learning initiatives.
• Promote a positive workplace culture, manage employee relations issues, and support engagement and retention initiatives.
• Ensure implementation of HR policies, maintain accurate employee records, and support compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Master's degree or professional HR qualification is an advantage.
• Proven experience working in a fast‑paced FMCG, manufacturing, consumer‑goods or similar corporate environment.
