HSE Business Partner – Addis Ababa

About the role

Inchcape Africa is looking for an HSE Business Partner to join its Ethiopia business in Addis Ababa. You will work closely with site managers, supervisors and employees to embed a strong health, safety, environment and wellbeing culture across the operation.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and support the implementation of the global HSE management system at site level.
• Assist the business in meeting all HSE key performance indicators.
• Support incident investigations and drive permanent corrective actions.
• Integrate group, regional and country risk‑management and wellbeing programmes.
• Assist with injury‑management and return‑to‑work processes.
• Provide monthly HSE performance reporting to regional and country leadership.
• Support the rollout of any HSE training programmes released by the HSE department.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience supporting HSE business risk control.
• Professional degree in industrial, mechanical or environmental engineering, or occupational health and safety.
• Proven HSE and facilities‑management experience in complex manufacturing, industrial or service organisations.
• Experience in scenario planning, security‑plan development, crisis/contingency planning.
• Background in contract administration, contract management and project management.
