Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Head of Human Resources will provide strategic leadership for all HR functions at Tibeb Design & Build PLC. Reporting to senior management, this role ensures workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, benefits, learning, and HR operations are aligned with the company’s objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an HR strategy that supports organizational goals while overseeing daily HR operations and data management.
• Lead talent acquisition, development, succession planning, and field‑level HR engagement, including attendance monitoring.
• Manage compensation and benefits programs to stay market‑competitive and coordinate payroll processing with Finance.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, safety regulations, and internal policies; support audits and standardise compliance reviews.
• Drive employee engagement, diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, and advise on optimal workforce design.
• Monitor HR KPIs such as payroll timeliness, data accuracy, and grievance resolution to align policies with business outcomes.
• Supervise the HR team, provide mentorship, and foster a high‑performing, collaborative environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR functions in a medium to large organization.
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labour law and HR best practices.
• Excellent advisory skills for senior management and ability to align HR strategy with business objectives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage compliance, risk, and HR analytics.
