Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR functions for Edge COMM-TECH in Addis Ababa, ensuring effective recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with Ethiopian labor laws.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
• Coordinate hiring processes, manage employee records, benefits and compensation administration.
• Facilitate training, development initiatives and promote an inclusive workplace culture.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify HR needs and provide guidance on best practices.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in core HR functions and experience developing HR policies, preferably within the Ethiopian labor context.
• Proficiency in HR administration tasks such as maintaining personnel records, managing benefits and preparing reports.
• Excellent communication, conflict‑resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability in organizational development, change management and workforce planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in a senior HR management role within a fast‑paced organization.
