ICT Specialist 2 – IT Support & Infrastructure

About the role

The ICT Specialist 2 is responsible for managing and organising all ICT systems and services at the assigned ICRC location. Working closely with the ICT Manager, the role ensures that hardware, network and communication equipment are operational and that end‑users receive the support they need.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date ICT inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
• Guarantee the functionality of existing ICT infrastructure, including computers, network devices, printers, PABX, telecom equipment and radios.
• Implement global and country‑level ICT policies and procedures.
• Provide Level 2 ICT service request support and collaborate with other support teams.
• Prepare technical set‑ups for meetings, video conferences and presentations.
• Draft and update technical documentation for all IT equipment.
• Train end‑users on ICRC ICT systems and, when required, manage and train ICT teams.

Required profile

• Good knowledge of humanitarian environments and ICRC operational objectives.
• Ability to collect and share information to improve organisational understanding of the context.
• Professional representation of the ICRC in meetings and field activities.
• Reliability in reporting on department activities, project status and issues.
