Junior Marketing Officer

About the role

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and functionally to the Middle East and East Africa Marketing Manager, the Junior Marketing Officer will drive growth, visibility and market impact for Lesaffre in Ethiopia. You will translate insights into actions, activate brands and support commercial performance through effective marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a local marketing roadmap aligned with regional priorities, identifying growth opportunities and high‑potential segments.
• Design and deploy end‑to‑end marketing campaigns, lead trade marketing and field activations, and ensure consistent brand execution.
• Lead local digital and social media activations, manage media executions, and create high‑impact content such as videos and training materials.
• Contribute to product development and launch initiatives, from positioning to go‑to‑market execution.
• Build and manage the annual marketing budget, track performance, ROI and provide clear monthly reporting.

Required profile

• Graduated in marketing, communication or business.
• First experience in a communication, advertising or digital agency, preferably in fast‑paced or FMCG environments.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
