Junior Non‑Key Expert – Digital Connectivity Study for Agriculture & Education

About the role
NTU International is seeking three Junior Non‑Key Experts to support the PRIDA II Digital Connectivity Study for Agriculture and Education. The assignment is based at the African Union Commission (AUC) in Addis Ababa, with most work performed remotely or on short‑term missions across the five AU regions.
Key responsibilities
- Assess bandwidth availability, quality, cost and adoption for rural agriculture and education (Work Stream 1).
- Evaluate technical, economic and regulatory feasibility of alternative connectivity solutions for underserved areas (Work Stream 2).
- Review and develop sustainable financing and service‑delivery models, including pricing and discount‑rate methodologies (Work Stream 3).
- Design policy and implementation strategies to promote sustainable digital connectivity, defining stakeholder roles and investment frameworks (Work Stream 4).
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Communications/Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/ICT/IT, Economics or Law from a reputable university.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in connectivity market development in developing or emerging economies.
- Ability to work across all AU regions (North, West, Central, East, Southern Africa) and deliver remote analyses.
