Junior Sales Representative – Addis Ababa

About the role

Nexa Business Group is looking for a motivated Junior Sales Representative to join its on‑site team in Addis Ababa. You will support the sales function by generating new leads, qualifying prospects, and helping to close deals across its technology, real‑estate and international‑trade services.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify leads through phone calls, emails and face‑to‑face outreach.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts and activities in the company CRM.
• Present Nexa’s solutions to potential clients and schedule sales meetings.
• Follow up on proposals, inquiries and provide timely customer service.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations to align messaging and gather market feedback.
• Track activity and revenue targets and prepare basic performance reports.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills in English; additional local languages are a plus.
• Basic understanding of sales processes, prospecting and relationship building.
• Organizational ability, attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Motivation to learn, resilience in a fast‑paced environment and a goal‑oriented mindset.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Internship or junior‑level experience in sales, customer service or business development is preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems.
• Proficiency in productivity software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
