Licensed Attorney – Legal Practice in Addis Ababa

About the role

Legal Eagles Law Firm LLP is seeking two licensed attorneys to join its team in Addis Ababa. The successful candidates will provide comprehensive legal services to a diverse client base, ensuring full compliance with Ethiopian law.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents and commercial contracts.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and arbitrations.
• Manage legal cases efficiently from inception to resolution.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Ethiopian laws and regulations.
• Maintain precise legal records and uphold strict client confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from a recognized university.
• Current and valid Ethiopian Advocacy License.
• Minimum of 1+ years of experience after obtaining the advocacy license.
• Proficiency in Amharic and English (Afaan Oromo is a plus).
