Marketing & Sales Officer – Car Rental Services

About the role

ABC Car Rent PLC is seeking a motivated Marketing & Sales Officer to drive growth of its car‑rental services in Ethiopia. You will promote the brand, build strong client relationships, and convert leads into long‑term customers across corporate, NGO, embassy, tour operator and individual segments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing and sales campaigns to increase visibility of ABC Car Rent services.
• Identify, approach and acquire new corporate, NGO, embassy, tour operator and individual clients.
• Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers, ensuring high satisfaction.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and follow up on client communications.
• Support digital marketing initiatives on LinkedIn, social media and other online channels.
• Conduct market research on competitors, pricing trends and emerging opportunities.
• Coordinate with operations to guarantee smooth service delivery.
• Track leads, conversion rates and collect client feedback.
• Produce regular sales and marketing performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, sales, business development or customer relationship management.
• Experience in car‑rental, travel, tourism, hospitality, logistics or similar service industries is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Fluency in English and Amharic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms.
