MPESA Credit Portfolio Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Manager to lead the MPESA Credit Portfolio at Safaricom Telecommunications Ethiopia PLC. The role focuses on the performance and growth of our digital lending and savings products, ensuring they remain sustainable and meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and optimise key lending and savings indicators across the MPESA portfolio.
• Evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance portfolio quality and increase customer adoption.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align portfolio objectives with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing credit or savings portfolios, preferably in a digital environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
