Network Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain enterprise network infrastructure for our clients in Addis Ababa. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, secure and scalable networking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy routers, switches, firewalls and related network components.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity issues and apply best‑practice optimisations.
• Document network architecture, configurations and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams to support deployments, upgrades and capacity planning.
• Integrate network security measures and assist with cloud service integration.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and availability.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Practical experience in network administration and day‑to‑day operations.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex network issues.
• Knowledge of network security principles and secure configuration practices.
• Ability to document technical work clearly and communicate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
