Job description

About the role

The physiotherapist will provide comprehensive assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to patients in a hospital setting, ensuring safe and effective care.

Key responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough physiotherapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, mobility training and physical modalities.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and educate patients and caregivers on home‑based rehabilitation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, report adverse events and participate in quality‑improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

  • Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy from a recognized institution.
  • Valid professional license/registration with the Ethiopian regulatory authority.
  • Relevant clinical experience is preferred.

Required skills

  • Physiotherapy assessment and treatment planning.
  • Manual therapy techniques.
  • Use of therapeutic exercise equipment and physical modalities.
  • Patient education and documentation.
