Planning Engineer – Transmission Line Projects (Ethiopia & Guinea)

About the role

We are looking for a Planning Engineer to support transmission line projects in Ethiopia and Guinea. The role involves creating and maintaining detailed schedules to ensure timely delivery of high‑voltage (above 220 kV) transmission lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to collect data and support planning activities.
• Analyse project requirements, constraints and construction methodologies to produce realistic and achievable plans.
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays and adjust schedules accordingly.
• Prepare progress reports, performance summaries and presentations for management review.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in project planning and scheduling.
• B.E. or B.Tech degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience on transmission line projects above 220 kV.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Required skills

• Primavera P6 for project planning and scheduling.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles.
