Procurement Services Manager (P-4) – Fixed Term

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Procurement Services Manager (P-4) on a fixed‑term basis to lead and strengthen procurement functions within the Ethiopia Country Office. The role will support large‑scale partnerships, enhance national supply‑chain systems, and ensure effective procurement across programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Procurement Services portfolio, including planning, forecasting, partnership development, implementation, project management and monitoring.
• Establish linkages between supply‑chain strengthening, programme implementation and country/regional priorities.
• Engage with government bodies, development partners, banks, implementing partners and programme sections on procurement and supply‑financing matters.
• Capture early insights on emerging requirements and translate them into procurement service requests.
• Promote internal and external awareness of procurement services and best practices.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, International Development, Health or related fields.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in supply management, international procurement, supply‑chain management, logistics, project management or public procurement.
