Program Officer – REACH Malaria (Ethiopia)

About the role

The Program Officer will support the REACH Malaria project in Ethiopia, providing essential program and administrative assistance to ensure smooth implementation of activities aimed at combating malaria and neglected tropical diseases. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing documentation, and facilitating communication among project partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide program and administrative support for REACH Malaria project activities.
• Coordinate workshops, meetings, travel, and logistics, including travel advances, ticket bookings, and vehicle arrangements.
• Prepare, review, and finalize project documents, reports, agreements, sub‑contracts, and consultant contracts.
• Maintain and update monthly and quarterly deliverable tracking tools.
• Take minutes of project meetings, follow up on action points, and manage digital and physical archives of project documentation.
• Represent the project at coordination meetings and events as assigned.
• Facilitate transportation of project supplies to field sites and maintain asset registration.
• Draft correspondence to donors, partners, and collaborators.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with international NGOs or donors.
• Fluency in English and Amharic (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational abilities, independent work style, and willingness to travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
