Project Manager

About the role

Ethioder is looking for a results‑driven Project Manager to lead operational projects across Ethiopia. Based in Addis Ababa, you will coordinate heavy‑machinery rentals, remote camp setups and related services for mining and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee deployment, maintenance and allocation of heavy machinery and commercial vehicles for mining and industrial customers.
• Lead end‑to‑end mobilisation of remote camps, including infrastructure, equipment sourcing, utilities and catering integration.
• Conduct regular field visits to audit operations, troubleshoot bottlenecks and ensure quality assurance.
• Serve as primary contact for suppliers, manage vendor contracts, lease agreements and service‑level agreements.
• Prepare project budgets, track field expenses and maintain inventory records for machinery, vehicles and camp assets.
• Implement Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) protocols and ensure compliance with Ethiopian transport and mining site regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing projects that involve heavy equipment, fleet logistics and remote site installations.
• Strong ability to coordinate between central administration and field teams.
• Excellent organisational skills with a focus on on‑time delivery and budget control.
• Knowledge of HSSE standards and Ethiopian regulatory requirements for transport and mining operations.
