Receptionist

About the role

The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors at Merit Properties. Working on-site in Addis Ababa, you will manage the front desk, ensure smooth daily operations, and provide professional customer service in a real‑estate environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome clients, visitors, and guests in a professional manner.
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls.
• Respond to general inquiries and provide accurate information.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and presentable reception area.
• Assist with filing, data entry, and document management.
• Support administrative tasks for various departments as required.
• Maintain confidentiality of company information.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Female candidate with a bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in Amharic; English communication skills are an advantage.
