About the role

Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to lead its business operations in the Hirna region. Reporting to the EHOD National Sales, you will be responsible for driving growth, expanding customer acquisition, and enhancing the overall sales ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

Manage the regional business to achieve revenue growth and customer acquisition targets.
Improve distribution effectiveness and promote M‑PESA payment adoption.
Boost merchant and agent productivity while ensuring product and service availability.
Foster SME/SoHo growth and deliver an excellent customer experience.
Lead regional sales execution through supervisors, distributors, merchants, agents, sub‑agents, SSOs and partners.

Required profile

Proven experience in managing sales teams and regional business operations.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholder groups.
Track record of achieving sales targets in a telecom or digital services environment.
