Regional Sales Manager

About the role

Safaricom Ethiopia is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial, acquisition, distribution and M‑PESA growth initiatives within the Gimbi cluster. Reporting to the EHOD National Sales, you will be responsible for driving market penetration and delivering revenue growth in the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Implement agreed market penetration activities across the region.
• Support and monitor the performance of distributors, merchants, agents, sub‑agents and SSO partners.
• Ensure product availability and float management to meet customer demand.
• Contribute to customer acquisition, revenue growth and enhanced customer experience.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align with Safaricom Ethiopia’s commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Reports directly to the EHOD National Sales.
• Manages a defined sales territory or cluster (Gimbi).
• Experience in coordinating distributor and agent networks.
