About the role

The Office of Global Health at Drexel University is seeking a part‑time Research Assistant to support a project on global population change. The role involves conducting literature reviews and assisting with analysis of the United Nations Population Division’s World Population Prospects database.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct literature reviews for papers focused on various aspects of global population shifts.
• Draft manuscript sections and contribute to scholarly writing.
• Support analysis of a large population database (UN World Population Prospects).
• Perform other assignments and duties as agreed.

Required profile

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred Master’s degree.
• Ability to work primarily seated at a desk.
• Grant‑funded position; employment contingent on continued funding.
