Sales and Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Sales and Marketing Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The role promotes Kehlot’s training and development services, manages the sales pipeline, and builds strong relationships with individual and institutional clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads for training and development programs.
• Conduct sales presentations, follow up on inquiries, and close sales to meet targets.
• Support marketing campaigns and develop promotional materials.
• Collaborate with training teams to understand program offerings and communicate value.
• Gather market feedback to inform service improvement.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Proven sales and sales‑management experience, including pipeline management and negotiation.
• Experience in training or learning‑focused environments.
• Ability to work on‑site in Addis Ababa, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Post‑secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (beneficial).

Required skills

• Proficiency with office and CRM software.
• Familiarity with social media and online marketing tools.
• Basic knowledge of marketing principles such as outreach, branding, and digital promotion.
