Sales & Business Development Division Manager

About the role

Ahununu Trading PLC is seeking a results‑driven professional to lead its Sales & Business Development Division. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, expanding market presence and managing strategic accounts across Ethiopia.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s sales and business development strategy.
• Set annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets and action plans.
• Identify new markets, customer segments and revenue streams.
• Lead customer acquisition and business development initiatives.
• Manage strategic corporate and key accounts, building strong relationships.
• Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, tenders and support negotiations.
• Monitor sales pipeline, conversion rates and revenue performance.
• Analyse market and competitor trends to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Experience teams to maximise acquisition and retention.
• Lead, coach and develop the Sales & Business Development team.
• Produce regular sales forecasts, performance reports and recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proven track record in sales, business development, key account management or commercial operations.
• Experience in logistics, courier, transportation, freight, e‑commerce or other B2B/B2C service industries is highly desirable.
