Sales Representative – Education Consultancy

About the role

Maraki Consultancy is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to promote its study‑abroad services to prospective students and their parents. You will act as the first point of contact, guiding prospects through the inquiry, consultation, and registration process.

Key responsibilities

• Reach out to potential students and parents via phone, walk‑ins, social media leads, referrals and campaigns.
• Explain the consultancy’s services, admission procedures, destination options, fees and requirements.
• Identify each prospect’s preferred country, academic background, budget and study goals.
• Guide leads from initial inquiry to consultation and successful registration.
• Maintain consistent follow‑up and record all interactions in the company tracking system.
• Coordinate with the admission and visa teams after registration.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets and report progress to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Management, Communication or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in sales, customer service, education consultancy or a similar role.
• Fluent in Amharic with good English communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette and strong presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, especially Google Sheets.
• Experience using CRM systems or similar tracking tools.
