Sales Support Engineer

About the role

The Sales Support Engineer will work closely with sales managers and project teams to drive growth in the energy sector by delivering tailored technical solutions and quotations to customers. Based in Addis Ababa, the role focuses on evaluating enquiries, preparing concept proposals and ensuring a smooth hand‑over from sales to project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate customer enquiries and develop concept solutions that meet technical requirements.
• Prepare quotations and detailed technical proposals in the company’s RFP format.
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to obtain cost data and pricing.
• Maintain and develop relationships with key stakeholders and provide product training where needed.
• Coordinate resources to assemble complete proposals, select optimal technical solutions and meet quotation deadlines.
• Drive the creation of cost and price calculations in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Experience in sales support or engineering roles within the energy sector.
• Strong ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information to customers.
• Attention to detail and adherence to company work processes.
