About the role

The Security Guard (Female) will work under the supervision of the Safety and Security Officer to protect Amref Health Africa’s premises, staff, visitors and assets. The role involves maintaining a safe environment through regular patrols, access control and incident reporting.

Key responsibilities

Patrol the premises regularly to deter criminal activity and ensure safety.
Control access by verifying ID cards, vehicle permits and issuing visitor badges.
Monitor and manage traffic flow within the site.
Inspect buildings and grounds to identify security risks or rule violations.
Respond to emergencies and security incidents promptly.
Maintain a detailed log of daily activities, incidents and visitor entries.
Coordinate with the Safety and Security Officer to evaluate security measures.

Required profile

Female candidate.
Ability to work under supervision and follow security procedures.
Physically fit to conduct regular patrols and handle emergencies.
Good attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping.
