Senior Anti-Corruption Officer

About the role

The Senior Anti-Corruption Officer will lead the organization’s efforts to prevent, detect, and address corruption risks within the finance sector. Reporting to senior management, the incumbent will ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement anti‑corruption policies, procedures, and controls.
• Conduct risk assessments and investigations related to corruption and fraud.
• Provide guidance and training to staff on ethical standards and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of anti‑corruption measures to the board.
• Collaborate with external regulators and audit bodies as needed.

Required profile

• BA/BSc/MA/MSc in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics or related fields.
• 5–4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a similar officer role.
• Fluency in speaking, writing, and reading Afaan Oromo.
• Demonstrated integrity and strong analytical abilities.
